Why I worked on Sunday?
I was in the office almost all day this past Sunday. Many people asked me: “why”? Here is my answer: I love what I do, I don’t consider my work as a job but something I do because I enjoy it. The fact that I’m living off of it is just a bonus.
It never ceases to amaze me, how almost nobody I know, outside of my colleagues, likes what he is doing.

Wait till you have kids!
Like you, I love to code, but finding the right company in order to find that balance is key. Like now, I have that balance, but if I needed to work on Sunday I would feel brutal being away from my family. I’ve found that with family my balance has shifted to loving to code – but only 4 or 5 days a week. Man, I sound/feel like I am getting old!

I’ll cross that bridge when (if) I have to :) But yeah, I imagine things change once you have someone else to take care of.
